Craig Skala holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours Degree from York University (Electronic Music Composition, Film Composition as well as Jazz Composition and Arranging).Since graduating he contunues to work as a session and performance player, engineer, composer, arranger and producer.
Credits include TV series Cover Stories (Fashion Television), When Hope Calls (Hallmark Channel), CBC Kids, Baxter, Fugget About It, Canadian Pickers and the Antique Hunter.
He has recorded with Gowan, Daughters of Eve (Pursuit of Happiness alumni), played on commercials (Movado Watches, Lady Foot Locker ) and was the mix engineer for 100 episodes of the animated series Sailor Moon.
His critically acclaimed instrumental album Tundra has been described as "evocative and atmospheric", charting in Canada and the U.S., reaching #17 on John Diliberto's highly syndicated show Echoes, & most recenly has been the lead guitarist for she shows "Motown Gold" and "Legends of Soul" with Shelley Hamilton on tour throughout Ontario.
Craig has worked as a Product Specialist for Godin Guitars since 2012 demonstrating new products and doing clinics across Canada and the U.S.
